Chapter 1: The Dream of a Patriot
In a town where silence often concealed the presence of fear and injustice, there lived an eighteen-year-old boy whose dreams extended far beyond the boundaries of ordinary life. Intelligent, observant, and deeply devoted to the ideals of peace and duty, he carried within him the spirit of a soldier even before wearing the uniform he longed for.
While others saw the world around them as it was, he saw it as it could be — a place where justice prevailed and people lived without fear. His ambition was to join the Army, but his sense of responsibility had already begun to shape his actions. With a disciplined mind and an unwavering determination, he watched the events around him carefully, always ready to stand against wrongdoing.
He belonged to an upper-middle-class family, where his father was a successful businessman who had always provided a comfortable life for his children. He was one of three brothers, and despite having every opportunity to pursue an ordinary career, his heart was drawn towards a greater purpose. After completing his Intermediate education, he began preparing himself for a future in the Army. His discipline, decision-making ability, and sense of responsibility reflected the mindset of an officer long before he earned the uniform.
He was known for his extraordinary courage and fearless nature. He never allowed fear to control his actions, regardless of the circumstances he faced. Whenever he heard news of theft, robbery, violence, or injustice, he found it impossible to remain silent. His heart always wished for a society where people could live with peace and dignity.
He carried a strong desire to bring positive change to his nation. Deep inside, he believed that one determined individual could inspire a revolution of justice and hope. He wanted to dedicate his life to serving his country and make a meaningful contribution towards building a better future.
His observant and investigative nature made him different from others. He had a habit of noticing even the smallest details around him, as if his mind was always searching for hidden truths. Sometimes, when sleep refused to come, he would quietly walk through the streets of the town at night, observing his surroundings and keeping an eye on anything unusual. These late-night walks were not driven by curiosity alone; they were a reflection of his alert mind and his desire to understand what was happening around him.
As the days passed, the date of his Army selection test came closer. Knowing that this was a turning point in his life, he increased his efforts and dedicated himself completely to his preparation. Every morning began with discipline, and every challenge became an opportunity to improve himself.
Chapter 2: The Test
Finally, the long-awaited day arrived. He appeared for the selection process with confidence and determination. He successfully cleared the written test, physical evaluation, interview, and medical examination. Step by step, he moved closer to his dream.
Only one final challenge remained — the last and most important interview that would decide his future in the Army.
To prepare himself for the final interview, he decided to seek guidance from two of his cousins, who had already dedicated their lives to serving the nation. One of them was a Major in the Army, while the other was a Flight Lieutenant in the Air Force.
They welcomed him warmly and began preparing him for the final challenge. They shared their experiences, the hardships they had faced during their service, and the lessons they had learned throughout their careers. Their stories inspired him and strengthened his determination.
Under their guidance, he learned not only how to answer questions in an interview but also how to carry himself like a true officer — with confidence, discipline, and responsibility. Every conversation with them brought him closer to his dream of wearing the uniform.
The day of the final interview finally arrived. Ahmad reached the GHQ with a mixture of nervousness and excitement in his heart. It was a moment he had dreamed about for years — a moment that could decide the direction of his entire life.
As he entered the building, he looked around with admiration and respect. The atmosphere itself reflected discipline, honor, and dedication. Although a slight nervousness existed within him, his confidence and determination remained stronger than his fears.
Ahmad was guided to the waiting area, where he sat quietly among other candidates. Each candidate was waiting for the call that could change their future. After some time, the names of the next four candidates were announced.
Among those four candidates was Ahmad. He took a deep breath, gathered his thoughts, and prepared himself for the final test of his journey.
The four candidates entered the interview room together. In front of them, three senior officers were seated behind a desk, observing every movement carefully.
The candidate who entered last closed the door behind him and stood in front of the officers with confidence, trying to maintain the posture of a future officer.
For a few moments, the room remained silent.
Then one of the officers looked at the last candidate and calmly asked,
“Who is coming behind you?”
The candidate, without thinking, immediately turned around to look behind him.
The officer’s expression changed. He looked at the candidate and said firmly,
“Get out. You have failed.”
The candidate was shocked and confused as he left the room.
The remaining candidates stood silently, realizing that the interview had already begun the moment they entered the room. The officers were not only testing their answers — they were testing their awareness, discipline, and officer-like qualities.
After the first candidate left the room, a brief silence filled the atmosphere. The officers continued observing every small movement of the remaining candidates.
Suddenly, one of the officers picked up some papers from the table, tore them apart, and placed the pieces back on the desk. A few pieces of paper fell onto the floor.
One of the candidates immediately stepped forward and said,
“Sir, the papers have fallen.”
He bent down, picked up the pieces, and moved towards the nearby dustbin to throw them away.
Before he could do so, the officer stopped him and said firmly,
“Get out. You have failed.”
The candidate looked surprised as he walked out of the room. : Ahmad and the remaining candidate understood that the officers were not judging simple actions. They were observing decision-making, awareness, and the ability to understand situations under pressure.
After the second candidate left the room, the officers turned their attention towards the third candidate. They asked him to introduce himself. The candidate confidently shared his background, education, and ambitions.
After listening carefully, one of the officers asked a simple but unexpected question:
“When you walked through the gallery before entering this room, whose picture was hanging on the wall?”
The candidate became silent for a moment. He tried to remember, but he could not recall the answer.
“I’m sorry, sir. I don’t know,” he replied honestly.
The officer looked at him calmly and said,
“Thank you. You may leave the room.”
The candidate stood up and left. Ahmad remained quiet, carefully observing everything. He was beginning to understand that the officers were not only testing knowledge; they were testing observation, presence of mind, and the qualities required in a future leader.
Now, it was Ahmad’s turn.
The officers looked towards him and asked him to take his seat. Ahmad sat down calmly, maintaining confidence and discipline. One of the officers asked him for his introduction, and Ahmad introduced himself with clarity and respect.
After listening carefully, an officer pointed towards the wall behind Ahmad and asked,
“Without turning around, tell us the color of the wall behind you.”
Ahmad did not look back. Instead, he carefully observed the walls on his right, left, and front, then used his judgment.
“Sir, the wall behind me is off-white,” he replied confidently.
The officers exchanged brief looks.
Then another officer asked,
“How many stairs did you climb to reach this floor?”
Ahmad answered without hesitation, “21 stairs, sir.”
Once again, the officers looked at each other with interest. They were impressed by his observation and awareness.
After a short pause, one officer asked an unexpected personal question:
“Have you ever seen your sister without clothes?”
Ahmad remained respectful and composed. He replied,
“Yes, sir. When she was a child.”
The officers remained silent.
Then suddenly, one of them picked up a glass placed in front of him and dropped it onto the floor. The glass broke into pieces.
Looking at Ahmad, the officer asked,
“How many pieces did this glass break into?”
Ahmad noticed another glass placed in front of him. Without saying anything, he picked it up and dropped it onto the floor as well.
He looked at the broken pieces and calmly replied,
“Sir, the number of pieces this glass has broken into is the same as the number of pieces the other glass broke into.”
For a moment, the room became silent.
The officers looked at each other, impressed by Ahmad’s presence of mind and logical thinking.
Finally, one of the officers smiled and said,
“Congratulations, Mr. Ahmad. You have passed. Soon, you will receive your recommendation letter. Best of luck. You may leave now.”
Ahmad stood up, saluted respectfully, and walked out of the room with a feeling of pride and achievement.
Ahmad left the interview room with a heart full of happiness and pride. The dream he had carried for years now felt closer than ever. As soon as he reached home, he shared the news with his family. Their faces lit up with joy and pride, knowing that Ahmad was moving towards the path he had always desired.
He also visited his two cousins who had guided him throughout his preparation. He told them everything about the final interview, and they congratulated him warmly. Their words and encouragement filled him with even more confidence. From that day onward, Ahmad eagerly waited for his recommendation letter. Every passing day felt longer because his heart was already imagining the life of an Army officer. Whenever he felt impatient, he would visit his cousins and listen to their stories about military academies, training, discipline, and the challenges faced by soldiers.
Those stories increased his excitement and strengthened his determination.
After almost one and a half months of waiting, the moment he had been waiting for finally arrived.
Ahmad received his recommendation letter.
Chapter 3: The begining of new life
Before his academy joining date arrived, Ahmad began preparing himself for the new chapter of his life. His excitement grew with every passing day. He knew that he was about to enter a world of discipline, challenges, and honor.
Finally, the long-awaited day arrived.
Ahmad woke up early in the morning with a heart full of excitement and determination. After offering his prayers, he had breakfast and carefully prepared everything he needed for his journey. There was a mixture of happiness and emotions in the house because everyone knew that Ahmad was stepping towards his dream.
His entire family accompanied him to the academy. As they reached the grand entrance gate, Ahmad looked at it with pride and admiration. This was not just a gate for him; it was the beginning of a new life — a life dedicated to discipline, service, and the nation.
With his family’s prayers and support behind him, Ahmad took his first step towards becoming an Army officer.
Ahmad’s father and his two brothers were extremely proud and happy. They knew that Ahmad was stepping towards a path of honor and service, and they celebrated his achievement with great joy.
However, his mother and younger sister had different emotions in their hearts. Although they were proud of him, they felt a little worried about the distance that was about to come between them. They knew they would miss his presence, his conversations, and the moments they shared together.
His mother looked at him with both pride and concern, while his younger sister struggled to hide her emotions. They understood that Ahmad was not leaving them behind; he was moving forward to fulfill a dream that meant everything to him.
With prayers in their hearts, they watched Ahmad begin his new journey.
Before entering the academy, Ahmad looked at his family one last time. A wave of emotions passed through his heart as he hugged each of them with love and respect.
“Goodbye,” he said with a smile, hiding the emotions he was feeling inside.
His family gave him their prayers and watched proudly as Ahmad turned around and walked towards the academy gate. With every step, he moved closer to the dream he had spent years chasing.
As Ahmad disappeared behind the gate, his family remained standing there for a few moments, silently watching the place where he had entered. Their hearts were filled with pride, prayers, and countless memories.
After some time, they finally turned back and left, carrying the hope that Ahmad would return one day as a successful officer.
After entering the academy, Ahmad completed all the necessary procedures. He was assigned his GC number, room, and house details. After completing the data entry process, he collected his belongings and slowly walked towards his new accommodation.
Everything around him felt different. The disciplined atmosphere, the uniformed cadets, and the environment of the academy made him realize that his new journey had truly begun.
While walking towards his house, Ahmad met another young officer on the way. The officer looked at him and asked,
“Are you also a 2nd Lieutenant?”
Ahmad smiled and replied,
“Yes, I am.”
The officer then asked about his house and room number. Surprisingly, they discovered that they had been assigned the same house, and their rooms were right next to each other.
They smiled at this coincidence.
“Looks like we are going to be neighbors,” the officer said.
Ahmad nodded, and both of them continued walking together towards their new home. A new friendship had begun on the very first day of their academy life.
Both of them were still walking towards their house, talking and getting familiar with each other, when suddenly a sharp whistle echoed through the air.
They turned around and saw an old Subedar with a thick moustache standing at a distance. His strict expression immediately caught their attention.
“Are you gentlemen here to have a conversation or to complete your training?” the Subedar shouted.
Then he raised his voice again,
“Run! Run! Move quickly!”
Both Ahmad and his new friend immediately understood that the academy was not a place for casual moments. Without wasting a second, they started running towards their house.
While running, Ahmad’s friend looked at him and said,
“Hey, what was that?”
Ahmad smiled and replied,
“Brother, I think this place is going to eat us alive.” 😁
They both laughed while running, but deep inside they had already realized that academy life was going to be much tougher than they had imagined.
Finally, after running through the academy grounds, Ahmad reached his room. When he entered, he saw that his roommate had already arrived.
The two introduced themselves to each other.
“My name is Kamran,” the roommate said with a friendly smile.
“Ahmad,” he replied.
Within a short time, they started becoming comfortable with each other. They arranged their belongings, organized their cupboards, and looked through the daily routine of academy life. Everything was new, yet exciting.
Later that night, after having dinner at the mess, both returned to their room. They lay on their beds, but sleep was far away. Their minds were filled with thoughts about the new journey ahead.
In the silence of the night, they started talking.
They shared their dreams, their goals, and the reasons that brought them to the academy. Ahmad spoke about his desire to serve his country, while Kamran shared his own ambitions and hopes.
That night was not just the beginning of their academy life; it was also the beginning of a strong friendship between two future officers.
The next morning, before the sun had fully risen, a sharp whistle echoed through the academy. Ahmad opened his eyes and immediately realized that his new life had begun.
He quickly got ready, wore his uniform, and prepared himself for his first day of training. When he stepped outside, he saw dozens of young cadets standing in perfect formation. The atmosphere was completely different from the life he had known before.
Ahmad and Kamran joined the group. The instructors moved around them with strict discipline, observing every movement. A small mistake in posture, timing, or command was immediately corrected.
For the first time, Ahmad understood that becoming an officer was not only about courage and dreams; it required patience, discipline, endurance, and the ability to keep moving forward even when things became difficult.
Chapter 4: The Making of Officer
The first few weeks of academy life were among the toughest experiences Ahmad had ever faced. The long training sessions, strict routines, and constant challenges tested his physical strength and mental determination.
But Ahmad never gave up.
Every challenge made him stronger. Every mistake became a lesson. His friendship with Kamran also grew stronger with each passing day. They supported each other through difficult moments and motivated one another to become better versions of themselves.
Soon, the instructors began noticing something different about Ahmad. His observation, calm decision-making, and leadership qualities made him stand out among the other cadets.
Ahmad had entered the academy with a dream.
Now, he was slowly becoming the officer he had always imagined himself to be.
As the months passed, Ahmad continued to prove himself in different aspects of academy life. His dedication, discipline, and determination made him stand out among the other cadets.
During the academy boxing competition, Ahmad entered the ring with confidence and focus. The match was intense, and both opponents fought with great determination. After a challenging battle, Ahmad managed to secure victory and won the gold medal.
However, his greatest quality was not just winning.
After the final round, Ahmad walked towards his opponent, shook his hand, and hugged him with respect. He believed that true strength was not about defeating others, but about respecting them.
Along with boxing, Ahmad also showed excellent performance in football and became one of the key players of his team. In swimming, he secured the second position, proving his versatility and commitment.
During one of the training sessions, an unexpected situation occurred when a Lieutenant faced difficulty in the water. Without thinking about his own safety, Ahmad immediately jumped forward and helped him, showing courage, quick decision-making, and the spirit of a true officer.
These incidents increased the respect of instructors and fellow cadets for Ahmad. He was no longer just a new cadet with a dream; he was becoming a leader who inspired others.
: One night, after a long and exhausting day of training, Ahmad found himself unable to sleep. His stomach was also reminding him that he had not eaten enough.
He looked towards Kamran and said,
“Why don’t we go to the mess and find something to eat?”
Kamran smiled and replied,
“I’m ready, Sir.”
Both of them quietly got out of their beds. Making sure that nobody noticed them, they carefully opened the door and stepped outside the room.
But as soon as they moved away from their house, someone suddenly placed a hand on both of their shoulders.
They froze.
Slowly, they turned around and saw Lieutenant Awais standing behind them. He was the same officer they had met near the academy gate on their first day.
Awais smiled and said,
“Going on an adventure without me?”
Ahmad and Kamran looked at each other and laughed.
“I am coming with you,” Awais added.
The three officers quietly moved along the wall of the house towards the mess. Their mission required complete silence. Near the mess entrance, a guard was standing alert, so they decided to enter from the back door.
Fortunately, the staff members were asleep, and the three managed to enter without making any noise.
They quickly searched for something to eat and enjoyed their unexpected late-night meal.
After completing their “mission,” they quietly returned to their rooms.
As they reached safely, Ahmad smiled and said,
“Mission successful.”
The three laughed softly, unaware that this small adventure would become one of their most memorable academy memories.
Time passed, and finally their training entered its final phase. The last month of academy life had begun, and the date of the passing-out ceremony had been announced. Excitement was visible on every cadet’s face because the dream they had worked for was finally becoming a reality.
However, the seniors decided to give the junior cadets one last unforgettable memory.
One cold night in December, exactly at midnight, a sharp whistle echoed through the academy. The cadets immediately woke up, knowing that something unexpected had happened.
An order was given for everyone to come outside immediately.
Despite the freezing weather, the cadets gathered outside and followed the instructions. The seniors conducted an unexpected drill, testing their discipline, pat…
Finally, the day they had been waiting for arrived — the passing-out ceremony.
The academy was filled with pride and excitement. Families of the cadets had arrived from different places to witness the moment they had dreamed about for years. Parents looked at their children with happiness and pride, knowing how much hard work and sacrifice had brought them to this day.
The ceremony began with the passing-out parade. The cadets marched with discipline and confidence, carrying the honor and responsibility they had earned through months of intense training.
As the awards ceremony started, names were announced one by one. When Ahmad’s name was called, the atmosphere filled with pride as he stepped forward to receive the prestigious Sword of Honor. It was a symbol of his dedication, leadership, and outstanding performance throughout his training.
Kamran was awarded the Gold Medal, while Lieutenant Awais received the Silver Medal for their remarkable achievements.
After the ceremony, a special dinner was arranged for the families. Ahmad, Kamran, and Awais introduced their families to each other. Their loved ones congratulated one another and shared the happiness of that unforgettable day.
For Ahmad, this was not just an achievement; it was the fulfillment of a dream he had carried since childhood.
The boy who once dreamed of wearing the uniform had finally become an officer.
After the passing-out ceremony, the academy slowly returned to its normal routine. The celebrations ended, and the newly commissioned officers were given a short period of leave to spend time with their families before beginning their professional duties.
Ahmad returned home, where he spent precious moments with his loved ones. His family was proud to see him wearing the uniform he had dreamed of since childhood.
Chapter 5: Beyond Ordinary Limits
After the completion of their leave, the young officers reported back and received their unit postings. It was the beginning of a completely new chapter of their lives — a chapter filled with responsibility, challenges, and service.
By a fortunate coincidence, Ahmad, Kamran, and Awais were assigned to the same unit.
When they discovered this, they were filled with happiness. The three friends who had started their journey together at the academy were now going to serve together as officers.
They knew that academy life had prepared them for the road ahead, but the real test of their courage, leadership, and loyalty was about to begin.
: Life in the unit was completely different from the academy. Ahmad, Kamran, and Awais were no longer cadets; they were now officers carrying the responsibility of their uniform.
They spent their days learning the system of their unit, understanding their duties, and adapting to the challenges of professional military life. Ahmad continued to show the same qualities that had made him different since childhood — observation, discipline, and quick decision-making.
A few months after joining the unit, an important opportunity arrived.
The unit received intelligence about suspicious activities taking place in a remote area. The information suggested that a group involved in illegal activities was operating there. The senior officers decided to conduct a small operation to gather more information and handle the situation.
Ahmad, Kamran, and Awais were included in the team.
Before leaving, their commanding officer looked at them and said,
“This is not just an operation. It is a test of your judgment, teamwork, and responsibility.”
The three officers understood the importance of the mission.
During the operation, Ahmad remained calm and focused. He carefully observed the surroundings, analyzed the situation, and helped the team make the right decisions at the right time. Kamran and Awais supported him throughout the mission, proving that their bond was not only based on friendship but also trust.
The operation was completed successfully.
When they returned, their performance was appreciated by the senior officers. They noticed that Ahmad possessed qualities beyond ordinary expectations — courage, leadership, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
One senior officer later said,
“An officer with these qualities has the potential to serve at a much higher level.”
Soon, Ahmad received news that would open the door to another challenging chapter of his life.
He had been selected to appear for SSG training.
That operation changed something inside Ahmad.
Although the mission had been successful, it made him realize that he wanted to challenge himself further. He wanted to serve his country at a level where courage, discipline, and leadership were tested beyond ordinary limits.
The experience strengthened his desire to join the Special Service Group (SSG).
Ahmad decided to appear for the SSG selection process. The journey was extremely demanding, but he faced every challenge with determination and confidence. His mental strength, physical ability, and never-give-up attitude helped him stand out among the candidates.
After successfully clearing the selection process, Ahmad was chosen for SSG training.
The next three years became the toughest and most transformative period of his life. The training tested him in every possible way. There were moments of exhaustion and difficulty, but Ahmad continued moving forward with the same passion that had guided him since childhood.
Through dedication, discipline, and continuous hard work, he achieved outstanding performance throughout his training. His instructors recognized his leadership qualities and commitment.
After completing three years of intense training, Ahmad successfully graduated from SSG.
His achievements and service earned him a promotion to the rank of Captain.
The young boy who once dreamed of wearing the uniform had now become an elite officer, ready to face greater challenges for his nation.
After completing his SSG training and receiving his promotion ceremony, Captain Ahmad was granted one month of leave. For the first time after a long period of intense training and responsibilities, he had the opportunity to spend extended time with his family.
Chapter 6: The New Chapter of Life
When Ahmad reached home, his family welcomed him with immense happiness and pride. His mother looked at him with loving eyes, seeing not only her son but also the officer he had worked so hard to become.
After some time, his mother shared an important news with him.
“Ahmad, we are thinking about your marriage,” she said with a smile.
She told him that they had chosen a suitable match for him — Dr. Amna, the daughter of their distant relative, Colonel Tauseef. His mother showed him Amna’s picture.
Ahmad looked at the picture and smiled. He found her personality and appearance pleasant, and he agreed with his family’s choice.
His mother happily said,
“Beta, your engagement is the day after tomorrow, and your wedding will be after ten days. We don’t know when you will get such a long leave again.”
A few days later, the engagement ceremony took place. Family members gathered to celebrate the new beginning of Ahmad’s life.
Ahmad wished that his close friends could be there as well. He asked about Awais, but unfortunately, Awais was busy with his duties and could not attend the engagement.
Kamran explained,
“Awais is a little busy these days, but he will definitely come to your wedding.”
Ahmad smiled, hoping that his closest friends would be there to share the happiest moments of his life.
: Finally, the day of Ahmad’s wedding arrived.
The house was filled with happiness, lights, and celebrations. Family members and guests gathered to witness a new chapter of Ahmad’s life.
Among the guests were Ahmad’s closest friends, Kamran and Awais. Seeing each other again after their busy professional lives brought back countless memories — from their first day at the academy to the challenges they had faced together.
They congratulated Ahmad warmly and shared moments of laughter, remembering the days when they were young cadets dreaming about the future.
Several senior officers also attended the wedding to share this special occasion with Ahmad. Although they knew him as a dedicated officer in uniform, that day they saw another side of him — a son, a friend, and a family member.
The celebration continued with happiness all around. Ahmad felt grateful as he looked at the people around him — his family, his friends, and those who had supported him throughout his journey.
For a brief moment, he was not Captain Ahmad, an SSG officer.
He was simply Ahmad, a person surrounded by the people he loved.
Chapter 7: The Final Mission
After his leave ended, Captain Ahmad returned to his unit and once again took responsibility for his duties. The peaceful moments with his family were now behind him, and the life of an officer demanded his full attention again.
A few days later, Ahmad received a message to report to the Colonel’s office.
When he entered, he noticed the serious atmosphere. The Colonel looked at him and said,
“Captain Ahmad, we have a critical situation.”
He explained that a small village had been taken over by a terrorist group. Many innocent civilians were trapped inside, and the situation required extreme care and precision. The safety of the hostages was the highest priority.
“This mission requires patience, discipline, and perfect execution,” the Colonel said.
Ahmad listened carefully. After a moment of silence, he said,
“Sir, I request permission to take responsibility for this mission personally.”
The Colonel looked at him with concern.
Ahmad continued,
“I know the risks, sir. But I believe my experience and training can help in this situation. Please keep the extraction team ready. When the time comes, they should be prepared to support the mission.”
The Colonel observed Ahmad’s confidence and determination. He knew that the officer standing in front of him was no longer the young cadet who had entered the academy years ago.
He was Captain Ahmad — an officer shaped by discipline, sacrifice, and countless challenges.
The final mission was about to begin.
The Colonel tried repeatedly to change Ahmad’s mind, explaining the risks involved in such a dangerous mission.
“Captain, no mission is worth ignoring proper operational procedure,” he said firmly.
But Ahmad remained calm.
“Sir, I understand the risks. I will not act recklessly. My objective is to enter unnoticed, assess the situation, and create the opportunity for a successful rescue. Please keep the extraction team on standby. The moment I call, I want them ready to move.”
The Colonel remained silent for a few moments before nodding.
“Very well, Captain. But remember—you are not fighting for glory. You are fighting to bring every innocent life back safely.”
“Yes, sir.”
As the sun slowly disappeared beyond the horizon, Ahmad began making his final preparations. He carefully studied the maps, reviewed the available intelligence, inspected his equipment, and planned every possible route into the village.
Every detail mattered.
Every decision could mean the difference between success and failure.
Outside, the extraction team stood ready, waiting for Ahmad’s signal.
As darkness covered the valley, Captain Ahmad took one last look at the mission file, quietly offered a prayer, and stepped into the night.
The final mission had begun.
: Darkness had completely covered the valley when the helicopter dropped Captain Ahmad at a safe distance from the village.
The sound of the rotor blades gradually faded into the night, leaving behind complete silence.
Ahmad adjusted his combat gear, took one last look towards the distant lights of the village, and quietly assessed the situation. Somewhere beyond those streets, hundreds of innocent civilians were waiting for help.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment and whispered a prayer.
Then, with calm determination, he disappeared into the darkness.Back at the command post, the Colonel stood before the operations map, watching every update with growing concern. The extraction team remained fully prepared, waiting for the signal that would decide the next phase of the mission.
The fate of hundreds of innocent lives now depended on Captain Ahmad’s courage, patience, and judgment.
From a concealed position, Ahmad noticed a truck moving slowly towards the occupied village.
His instincts immediately told him that the vehicle was connected to the hostile group.
Keeping himself hidden, he watched as the truck disappeared into the darkness. It offered him an unexpected opportunity to get closer to the village without drawing attention.
A few tense moments later, Ahmad managed to get aboard the vehicle unnoticed.
Inside, he realized that he was not alone.
Two armed militants were sitting only a short distance away, completely unaware of his presence.
For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still.
Acting with speed and precision, Captain shot them both in forehead before either of them could raise the alarm. The truck continued its journey through the silent night, while Ahmad remained focused on the real objective—not revenge, but the safe rescue of hundreds of innocent civilians waiting inside the village.
The truck rolled through the darkness until it finally entered the occupied village.
Captain Ahmad remained perfectly still, hidden from sight, listening to every sound around him.
After a few moments, the vehicle came to a halt.
Outside, voices echoed through the cold night. Two armed men began walking towards the truck, apparently intending to inspect the newly delivered supplies.
For the first time since the mission had begun, Ahmad felt the tension rise. One careless moment could expose everything.
The footsteps came closer…
Then another voice called out from a distance.
“Leave it until morning. You can check everything after sunrise. Get some rest.”
The two men exchanged a few words, turned around, and walked away.
Silence returned.
Ahmad waited several more minutes without moving. Only when he was absolutely certain that the area had become quiet again did he prepare himself for the next stage of the mission.
The night was far from over.
Keeping himself concealed beneath the vehicle, Captain Ahmad carefully observed the surroundings.
The occupied village was unusually quiet. Faint lights flickered in the darkness, while distant voices echoed through the night.
From his position, he saw four towers and a militant on each tower and one militant was on the roof with Sniper.
He remained perfectly still, resisting the urge to act too quickly.
Captain took a look here and there, then went nearer to the militant lying on the roof by climbing through ladder. As the militant looked back, Captain shot him in head. Captain shot all the four militants standing on the tower one by one. Then he shot those two, who are standing at main gate. Captain take a look here and there. But no one was there. Every passing second increased the tension. Captain knew that a single mistake could place hundreds of innocent lives in danger.
He took a slow breath, and continued observing, waiting patiently for the right moment to move.
The night had only just begun.
Captain Ahmad moved carefully through the shadows, using the darkness to conceal his presence.
As he paused beside a weathered wall, he noticed a lone armed man standing a short distance away. The man appeared distracted, unaware that someone was silently observing the area. He was smoking Captain just stood up and held his breathe by putting hand on his mouth. The militant died there in a while.
Captain noticed that a group of seven to eight militants was listening to music in full bass and dancing a room. Captain got an opportunity he took out pins from two gernades and threw them through the window. Before the militants could guess what happened, they all died at once. No one could listen because of loud music. Captain ran from there and hide himself a wall.
Suddenly, a shadow appeared directly in front of Captain Ahmad.
For a brief second, both men froze.
Captain took out his pistol and shot the militant 3 times.
Captain remained composed, his mind racing as he searched for a way to protect the hostages without turning the situation into chaos.
Captain got an opportunity to climb up one the tower and took a clear view of two militants standing at different places. Captain shot them dead from the tower.
Then Captain get off the tower.
Now, the mission was at a critical stage. Captain surveyed the and suddenly he saw a man sleeping on traditional charpai. Captain went near to him but a glance on gun made him realize that he was not a civilian. Captain took out his knife and stabbed him many times in putting hand on his mouth.
Now Captain stood up and started walking fearlessly and started finding the remaining militants. Two came up suddenly in front of him but he shot them immediately. Captain fired a bullet with AK-47 to bring the remaining militants together. At sudden, the remaining militants started running towards the bullet sound . As they came in front of Captain. He shot four of five militants but this time one of them also shot the Captain on his left arm. Captain hide himself with a wall and tried to call the extraction team.
Captain Ahmad reached for his communication device and attempted to contact the extraction team.
For a few anxious moments, there was only silence.
He waited patiently, hoping for a response while keeping his attention fixed on the safety of the civilians. Every passing second felt longer than the last as the success of the mission now depended on timely coordination.
Then, at last, the radio came to life with a faint reply.
“Extraction team receiving. We’re standing by.”
Ahmad took a quiet breath of relief. The final phase of the rescue operation was about to begin.
The fifth militant kept firing at Captain and came nearer. Captain stood up and tried to hit him but he stabbed a knife in the left waist of Captain and then Captain made a bold move by taking out his gun and shooting him many times. For a moment, complete silence covered the area.
Ahmad remained alert, sensing that something was wrong. As he turned around, the silence suddenly broke and a confrontation began.
The militant caught him off guard, and both of them struggled in the darkness. The fight was intense, testing Ahmad’s patience, strength, and training.
After a huge fist fighting, Captain caught him up from throat and broke his neck.
The surroundings became quiet again.
Captain Ahmad fell to the ground and rested his back against the wall, trying to regain his balance.
For a moment, everything around him became silent.
The cold night air passed through the empty streets, and Ahmad could hear only his own breathing. He knew that the mission was far from over, and he could not allow exhaustion to overcome his focus.
Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of him.
The man stood there silently, watching Ahmad.
For a few seconds, both remained still, as if the entire world had stopped.
Ahmad looked at him carefully. His mind immediately shifted from exhaustion back to the mission. He knew that this moment required patience and control. The militant fired a bullet into Captain’s tummy, then took a step forward, pointed his gun towards Captain and said “You killed all of friends , Now it’s your time to die”. Before he could say another word. A bullet was shot in the head of militant and he fell into Captain’s legs. Finally, Extraction team reached there and took the control of whole town. Awais and Kamran helped Captain Ahmad to get in the helicopter and to reach the hospital.
